Dr. Louis J. Butera
Louis Butera, D.O. has been with Palm Beach Neurology for ten years.
A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with honors, Dr. Butera completed his neurology training at Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn and at Montefiore/Albert Einstein Medical Centers in the Bronx.
After completion of training in New York, Dr. Butera returned to the Philadelphia College of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Neurology, where he taught for four years.Dr. Butera has been in private practice in West Palm Beach for greater than twenty years.
He is Board Certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
He enjoys general neurology with special interest in Parkinson’s Disease.
He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the Movement Disorder Society, The American Medical Association, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
